Sahra Vang is a multimedia artist, producer & entrepreneur currently based in Brooklyn, New York. She is the daughter of refugees who escaped the Vietnam War by boat in 1980. They eventually immigrated to the United States, started from nothing and built a new life, family and 2 humble businesses. Maker's Lane is inspired by Sahra's parents and so many others who had the courage to pursue the path less taken and defined their own rules while navigating American society.
